Our recommendation? Either pick up its console version or pray 2K decides to finally fix the PC versions of BioShock and BioShock 2.
While we’re hoping 2K takes the initiative to fix the problems PC players are having with both remastered games, considering it had years to do so, we have a feeling it won’t any time soon. Unfortunately, it appears the PC versions of BioShock Remastered and BioShock 2 Remastered didn’t receive as much love as its console counterparts, and as a result, nearly half of current Steam reviews aren’t recommending either of them. Some other issues include lack of a field-of-view (FOV) slider, less menu options than the original game, issues with lighting, menu sensitivity problems, and, of course, crashes.Ĭonsidering BioShock is now a nine-year old game, these fixes should have been implemented a long time ago. One of the biggest issues PC players are having with their respective version is it shares many of the same issues they had with the original release, which includes poor mouse optimization, lack of significant video options, and audio issues, to name a few.
